Sometimes kids listen to adults.
What they hear, and what you mean, are often two entirely different things. This grafix created by Toothpick Boy being a point in case.
No idea who used that term as it means nothing to me...
On this planet, there is a rather scrawny little boy. This is his blog. He enjoys drawing stick pictures on 3x5 cards depicting his reality. The stick figure in the drawings is his self portrait. Support the feeding of Toothpick boy by sending a donation. His favourite meal is sashimi - raw fish. Sushi is like-able too; the west coast "California Roll" is a favourite of his.

OMG here we are 2018 = an entire decade later and I finally know!
When flowers die off, to keep a plant producing more pretty flowers, we do what is known as "dead-head" the plant.
What this means is we pluck off the dying flowers or cut off or cut back a tad bit to allow new growth and more blooms.
Lovely picture, Corban son.
Children reveal to us some much in so many ways if we will but watch intently and listen with an ear to hear what they have to share with us.
I believe my son was not yet a talker when he made these creations. He began signing at a few months of age...because I offered that kind of communication to him.
The more we give our children, the more they can truly experience and express their lives.
My son is now 19, will be 20 this year. He is well over 6'3" and all of 143 pounds. Dripping wet. With heavy boots. And denim.
